The GS1 Europe Executive Committee meeting, established to increase cooperation between European countries to facilitate the application of the GS1 system and of which TOBB is a member, held the GS1 European Executive Committee Meeting and B2C Workshop in Ä°stanbul.

During the B2C Workshop, attended by TOBB GS1 Committee President Tahir Büyükhelvacıgil as well as GS1 Europe member organizations’ directors and representatives of the Turkish private sector, assessments were made regarding the proliferation of B2C in the region.

GS1 is pioneering the standards in the fields of access to product information and B2C – Business to Consumer mobile applications.
