Turkey's Glassware Council considers normalization process

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) met via video conference with the participation of industry representatives under the chairmanship of the Glassware Council of Turkey, TOBB Vice President Ali Kopuz and Council President Murat Kolbaşı.​

Vice President Ali Kopuz, in his opening speech, giving assessments of first quarter 2021 growth data. Kopuz, who also mentioned the export data of the sector in January-May, congratulated all sector stakeholders for this success, stating that glassware exports exceeded $2.4 billion in the first 5 months of the year, an increase of 54.1 percent compared to the same period of 2020.

At the meeting, TOBB gave an informational presentation on current environmental issues and legislations
