TOBB Board Member S. Selim Kandemir said in his opening speech that TOBB mobilized all its opportunities to solve sectoral problems during the Covid-19 pandemic and that the relaying and monitoring of the problems in this context to public institutions/organizations was meticulously carried out. Kandemir also emphasized the importance of the Council, stating that the aviation sector, together with all stakeholders, is one of the most important sectors in Turkey.

The normalization process and the lifting of flight bans that started as of July 1^st were welcomed by the sector, and the expectations of the sector from the normalization process and its demands in this process were discussed extensively.
