TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç evaluated the recent developments especially in the import of plastic waste in his opening speech. Thanking everyone who contributed to the lifting of the polyethylene ban, Kıvanç shared with the participants that all issues related to the waste sector were followed up and addressed with precision as TOBB.

The meeting saw briefing on the activities of the Council since its last meeting.

During the meeting, where the Vice Speakers of the House responsible for subcommittees briefed on the problems of the subcommittee groups, consultations were held with the Council Members on the current and urgent problems of the sector.
