In his opening speech, Council President Kemal Yamankaradeniz gave a summary of the activities of the Council commissions. Stating that the patent and trademark surrogacy exam will be held every two years in November, he stated that the profession has evolved, changed and become popular over time, at which point the current problems of the profession such as the Turkey Patent and Trademark Regents Council are very important. He added that TEKNOFEST-like events held in Istanbul between 21-26 September were very important in recognizing the profession. He emphasized that the importance of the patent and trademark representation profession should be shared with the public.

At the meeting, the Commission Heads were informed about the activities of the Council subcommittees. The current status of the work of the Council on the calculation and payment of invention fees and the solution proposals presented was consulted.

In addition, the details of the series of informative meetings were raised at the meeting, which included the introduction of the patent and trademark surrogacy profession planned to be organized by the Council, workplaces, career opportunities, and the ways of execution of this profession in the world.
