Visit to R&D Incentives General Directorate and KVKK with Minister Ersoy from the e-Commerce Council

TOBB Turkey's e-Commerce Council visited Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, TOBB Turkey e-Commerce Council, Ministry of Industry and Technology R&D Incentives Director General Muhammet Bilal Macit and Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) President Prof. Dr. Faruk Bilir separately at their offices.
The council members expressed the demands of the sector while informing Minister Ersoy about the issues on the agenda of online travel platforms.
TOBB Turkey e-Commerce Council then visited and informed the Ministry of Industry and Technology R&D Incentives General Manager Macit about the remote working practices that have become widespread with the outbreak. He expressed his views on making technopark incentives suitable for the new era.
TOBB Turkey e-Commerce Council also conveyed its views on the draft principle decision to increase data security on e-commerce sites, which are on the agenda of the institution. The meeting also discussed areas of co-operation between the institution and council.
