In his opening remarks, Özer Matlı emphasized the effects of rising commodity prices in the world on the agricultural sector in our country and the importance of the Turkey Agriculture Council working together to convey the problems experienced in the sector and what can be done to resolve the issues.

At the meeting, where developments and reflections in agricultural input costs in the last year were the main agenda item, Council Members, who operate in different regions of Turkey, consulted about the developments in their fields.

During the meeting, which discussed the reflections of world-wide issues such as the Paris Climate Agreement and the Green Deal on the agricultural sector, the agriculture and livestock part of the webinar series “How to Keep Up with the Green Transformation,” which was held in cooperation with TOBB and Horizon Consulting Firm, was discussed.
