East Marmara Women Entrepreneurs Boards in Bolu

TOBB Bolu Women Entrepreneurs Council Chairman Emine Yücel, who carries out her work under the Coordination of Bolu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will be hosting the 8th annual Meeting on November 5-6, 2021. Regional East Marmara Region meeting was held.​

Regional representative and TOBB Bursa Women Entrepreneurs Board President Sevgi Saygın and all regional provincial Presidents Nurbin Tüfekçioğlu (Balıkesir) Şermin Kahraman (Bilecik) Serap Küçük (Düzce), Nurcan Babalık (Kocaeli), Zehra Dirim (Sakarya), Merve Yadigar Gencer (Yalova) Executive Committee members, together with the women's cooperatives of Bolu province participated widely.

Bolu Chamber of Commerce and Industry Board Member Fatma Lebibe Özçağlar started the program with the speeches of Bolu Deputy Mayor Rasim Özdemir, Bolu MP Arzu Aydın and Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alişarlı.

In the meeting, which saw discussion on development, clean production, ancestral seeds and leadership on the axis of global awareness, entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainability, the activities and environmentally conscious projects of Nurten Öztürk, President of TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council, as a leader, aimed at increasing the number of female employees were discussed.

Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University contributed to the meeting with activities prepared within the Bolu Center for Research and Application of Folk Culture (BAMER) in order to promote Bolu.

After the fashion show, where Bolu regional clothes were presented by the students of TOBB Zübeyde Hanım Vocational High School for Girls, a music performance called “Ezgiler Türküler” from Lecturer Gamze Çalık Çetin and Teacher İbrahim Çetin was held.

On the second day of the meeting, Abant, Mudurnu and Göynük trips were carried out. Hosted by Göynük Mayor Ahmet Çankaya, Göynük Producing Hands Women's Initiative Production and Business Cooperative and fabric weaving workshop were visited.
