The first elective meeting of the Council was held under the chairmanship of TOBB Vice President Ali Kopuz to elect the Presidential Council and to consult on current issues of the sector.

In his speech, Kopuz explained the purpose, duty and working principles of the Sector Councils. Stating that sectoral councils are a platform which brings together public-private and sectoral non-governmental organizations on a legal platform, Ali Kopuz said, “The Turkish Services Council will carry out many important works.”

After the opening speech, the election of the Presidential Council was held. Deniz Can Gıda Otomotiv İns. And Tourism Industry Trade Inc. Chairman Hüseyin Bozdağ was elected Council President and Sedat Zincirkıran, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Geranium Food Kitchen Enterprises, was elected Council Vice President.

Ali Kopuz stated that all the proposals and demands put forward at the meeting are very important to them and noted the importance of being solution-oriented against problems.
