TOBB Board Member Özer Matlı stated in his opening speech that many new members have joined the Sector Council to serve in the new term. Matlı also stated that they are trying to provide solutions to the problems of the sector by delivering them to the relevant public institutions and organizations, and expressed his thanks for their efforts and work to the presidential council, which carried out important work on behalf of the Parliament in the previous period.

As a result of the Presidential Council election, Necdet Buzbas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Food Industry Employers' Union, was unanimously re-elected as the Council President, while Dr. Mehmet Çetin Duruk, a member of the Ireks Food Board of Directors, was elected as Vice President.

Turkey's Food Industry Council has decided to meet again as soon as possible to determine the new period of working method for the quick resolution of problems.
