The opening speeches of the workshop were given by Zeki Kıvanç, Eyyüp Karahan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Environment Agency, and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Birpınar, Deputy Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.

During the two-day Workshop, the Transition process to the Mandatory Deposit Management System, Developments and Expectations, the Current Situation in the Preparations of the Turkish Environment Agency Deposit Management System, the Workshop Structure and Methodology were discussed, while the Beverage Sector and Bottle Producers, Retailing Sector; Packaging Collection, Transportation, Storage and Processing Sector and Public sessions are taking place.
