Ali Kopuz stated in his opening speech that the council held 6 meetings in 2021 and expressed hope that this successful performance will continue in 2022.
Moldovan Ambassador to Ankara Dmitri Croitor, who attended the meeting as a guest, briefed industry representatives on investment opportunities in Moldova and presented the attractive aspects of being an investor in Moldova in Turkish. Referring to Moldova as a large market, Ambassador Croitor stressed that they are open to cooperation between the two countries.
At the meeting, where the 2021 evaluation of the sector and its expectations for 2022 were discussed, efforts which can be put forth for the comparative product evaluations seen on social media platforms were also consulted on by Council Members.
The meeting ended with the evaluation of the Covid-19 process and the possible effects of the Proposed Law on the Regulation of Retail Trade and vaccination practices in companies.
