13.12.2021 /

The thirteenth roadshow covering face-to-face trainings in the designated provinces was held in Karabük University Conference Hall after online trainings in the Heroines of Entrepreneurship Project, implemented with the support of Arçelik Retail Academy in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Women Entrepreneurs Board and Beko.

The meeting was organized with the participation of TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council Vice President Günseli Özen, Nuray Alpboğa, 3rd Region Representative to the Western Black Sea and President of TOBB Karabük Women Entrepreneurs Council as well as Arçelik Retail Academy and Beko executives. In the program, details were conveyed in a special panel for those who want to become dealers within the scope of Beko 100 Women Dealers project.

Günseli Özen, Vice President of the Women Entrepreneurs Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, started by sending her loving greetings to the participants on behalf of TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council President Nurten Öztürk. “‎Our TOBB President, M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, has a mission.‎ Our president says, ‘Half our country is women, and if our women work harder, our country will be richer.’ With this in mind, they launched the Women Entrepreneurs Council in 2007. Our president says, 'We will increase the number of women entrepreneurs, we will increase the number of women among white collar workers, and we will train and employ blue-collar women'. That's the job of our council. That's what we, as 7,000 women, work for. Karabük is the second largest region in the Black Sea, representing ten provinces. In this context, there is a great responsibility. As human beings, we need to make efforts to live the life we were promised. We've been given a life, and we'll either spend it or elevate it. I suggest you consider it and I wish you well. The reason Beko 100 Women Dealers and Heroines of Entrepreneurship Project is valuable because they perform three separate missions. Firstly, a franchise mission and giving very special opportunities. The two also support white-collar workers who work at these dealerships to be women. Then it adds added value to the women who will work as blue collar. TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council is very valuable as it is a project in accordance with its mission. I suggest those who are here today make the most of this opportunity. I want this country to be where it deserves to be. I believe that women have very significant missions on their way to this goal.”

Nuray Alpboğa, 3rd Region Western Black Sea Representative and TOBB Karabük Women Entrepreneurs Council President, started by thanking those who contributed and participated. “Women are very important in society. She's the mother, the one who keeps the family together. That is why a woman's place is different in society. We're highlighting something important here today. We know how important women are when experiencing the challenges of society, that finance is actually reflected in our businesses, starting from home and starting from home. In this context, I think our women are professors of finance. Because they don't have much trouble calculating. This woman has it in her mind. We're proud to have her in business. When it comes to business, we see that everything is in common. Today, our women entrepreneurs have a serious vision. We're happy if we can guide them, help them. We provide motivation to our entrepreneurial women. As TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council, our aim is to increase the number of women entrepreneurs in our region, to take our women's hands out of the dough and to direct them to more value-added jobs.”

Beko Sales Director Burak Bilgisel said, “As Beko, we always support and stand by women's participation in the business world. We are happy to be in Karabük with the face-to-face trainings we would love to carry out within the scope of the Heroines of Entrepreneurship Project in this way that we aim to support and empower entrepreneurial women. The primary goal of this project is to be able to fill their courage in business life with education and to help women get their rightful place in business life in a safe, competitive and equipped way. Since it is integrated with our 100 Women Dealers Project, I would like to share that we will be happy to join us that our door is open to the entrepreneurial women of the Black Sea who want to become Beko dealers after the trainings.”
