TOBB Board Member S. Selim Kandemir said in his opening speech that it has been a year since the establishment of the Council, he underlined that the Council has created a great awareness, especially in the eyes of public institutions.

TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç shared with the participants that they are aware of the problems of all subgroups in the sector and that all issues related to the waste sector are monitored and addressed with sensitivity as TOBB.

The meeting, which recently held a comprehensive assessment of the Regulations, Communiqués and Procedural Principles concerning the waste sector, ended with a consultation of the topics requested to be raised by the Council Members in 2022.
