TOBB Board Member Oğuzhan Ata Sadıkoğlu informed Council Members about the latest developments concerning the sector. Sadıkoğlu also expressed his thanks to Council President Fatih Ebiçlioğlu for his participation and contributions to the TOBB Sector Councils Energy Efficiency Panel, which was held at the beginning of January.

At the meeting, the final regulations on hoarding were evaluated. Later, current developments regarding flat steel customs duties were evaluated. The recent increase in energy costs was also discussed in the following agenda items.

Following the briefing on GEKAP amounts for 2022, the meeting ended with the evaluation of initiatives that can be made before the European Union to increase the ingestion areas.
