The Women-Up Project to Support Registered Women's Employment, co-funded by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey and run by the Social Security Agency, will provide a total of €25m in support to women employers.
The project aims to encourage women employers, support women's participation and registered employment in the workforce, and create new job opportunities to improve the professional skills and employability of women employees
The project, which will last a total of 32 months and will be implemented in İstanbul, Ankara, Aydın, Denizli, Kahramanmaraş, Samsun and Şanlıurfa provinces, aims to support the employment of women in small-scale and young enterprises belonging to women entrepreneurs. In this context, grant support will be given to 1000 women employers in İstanbul, 900 in Ankara, 500 in Samsun and 400 each in Aydın, Denizli, Kahramanmaraş and Şanlıurfa.
Employers who employ up to 9 workers from businesses opened by women entrepreneurs with a history of up to 8 years and employ additional women insured are the target audience of the project.
The 4,000 women employers and 4,000 women workers hired by these businesses will benefit from the project. Within the scope of the project, women employers will receive grant support up to the net amount of the minimum wage for the female insured, which it will employ additionally.
