Turkish Glassware Council February Meeting

The Meeting of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Glassware Council was convened via video conference with the intensive participation of industry representatives, chaired by TOBB Vice Chairman Ali Kopuz and Parliament Speaker Murat Kolbaşı.​

Ali Kopuz, in his opening, briefed the Council members about the problems in the energy supply in January and the work done by TOBB in this process.

Information was given by Council President Murat Kolbaşı about the meeting with the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC) and the fair held in the United Arab Emirates in February.

An informational presentation was made by Çiğdem Arıkan of Arzum Electrical Appliances Inc. about the “Regulation on Changes to the Regulation on Commercial Advertising and Unfair Commercial Practices,” published on February 1st, 2022.

The meeting ended with the evaluation of the latest developments in the country and the world agenda.
