Turkey Agriculture Council convened

The Meeting of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Agriculture Council was held under the chairmanship of Council President Ülkü Karakuş with the participation of TOBB Board Member Özer Matlı. The meeting, which was attended by representatives of public, non-governmental organizations and the private sector, discussed the current problems of the sector and developments in the sector.
At the meeting, where the increase in agricultural production costs, developments between Russia and Ukraine and the export regulations of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry were the main agenda, Halil İbrahim Yılmaz, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ankara Chamber of Commerce (ATO), gave information about the “ECO CLIMATE Economic and Climate Change Summit” to be held on March 30-31.
Cengiz Budan, Acting General Manager of the General Directorate of Plant Production from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Dr. Veyis Yurtkulu, Head of the Department of Field and Horticulture, Fatih Kaya, Group Manager of the Workgroup of the Department of Plant and Herbal Products Border Control, was evaluated with public representatives regarding the demands and development of the sector.
