Emphasizing that digitalization and green transformation deal are the most leading issues in the world, Ülken mentioned how the insurance sector will be affected by this process, “Can digitalization prevent agencies? This is Turkey. Here, the culture of doing business of the Turkish people is based on individual relationships. It would be wrong in Turkey to ignore agencies, to consider agencies weakened, and that agencies could be replaced with computer screens.”

Hakan Ülken said, “We need to be able to show guarantees on green transformation. We need to be ready for the green transformation. We experience a period wherein trade wars were beginning while protectionism increased compounded by a pandemic. For two years, the whole world has been grappling with the pandemic. We come to February and we’ree faced with the Russia-Ukraine issue. The risks in the world will not end. The time slots of the risks will get narrower. That's what it looks like. If there is a risk, there is insurance.”
