TOBB Vice President Tamer Kıran chaired the meeting, which was attended by Murat Baştor, General Manager of Transportation Services Regulation at the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.

At the meeting, problems and solutions were evaluated on the subjects of variety of authorization certificates, entry into the sector, vocational qualification certificate, driver deprivation/violations, damages caused by contracted vehicles to the main companies, inspection/BAG model of foreign vehicles, driver visas, processes, fees, UBAK distribution criteria, UETDS scope and data sharing, registration problem of leasing vehicles, creation of alternative routes at border crossings, seasonal products on the basis of transit document distribution, ATP legislation and food transportation pricing, home-to-home transportation companies, domestic goods carriers, warehouse shortages, reflection of rising costs on the sector, ADR legislation and hazardous material transportation.

About the problems raised by the ministry authorities; solution proposals will be worked out and necessary initiatives will be made to ensure beneficial returns to the sector.
