Number of Capacity Reports Approved in March increased by 33.1% compared to the previous month

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) in March 2022 increased by 15.1% (753 units) to 5,739 units compared to March 2021 (4986 units).
Of the 5,739 capacity report approved in March; 1,555 were in İstanbul, 453 in Bursa, 364 in Ankara, 315 in İzmir, 211 in Konya, 207 in Kocaeli, 174 in Gaziantep, 133 in Kayseri, 129 in Adana, 124 in Manisa.
The total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industrial Database increased by 9.3% (7,474 units) to 88,254 units in March 2022 from 80,780 in March 2021.
According to Active Capacity Reports, the total number of employees increased by 9.1% (306,317 units) from 3,354,934 in March 2021 to 3,661,251 in March 2022.
Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: utilization of bench, device, machine and motive force in processing raw materials, semi-and complete products, property, content, composition or shape in full or in part; for businesses that produce a new product in serial or standard, and for those who operate and operate underground resources and produce software with information technology.
