At the meeting, decisions taken at the previous meeting were reviewed. Then, by OAİB Machinery Branch Manager Mehtap Önal gave a presentation on the evaluation of the 2021 and 2022 first 2 months in machinery foreign trade.

MAKFED Secretary General Zühtü Bakır gave a presentation titled “2021 Assessment of Developments in Sector Key Indicators.” In addition, ESDH President Dr. Can Gürsel shared the presentation on “The Impact of Developments in Russia – Ukraine on the Machinery Sector” with the Council Members.

The situation was reviewed in terms of sectoral and international impact by Ahmet Yılmaz, MAIB Germany Consultant.

Also at the meeting, TOBB SME Research and Consultancy Center Director Cahit Ceren provided up-to-date information about the Machinery Registry studies carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Technology.

At the end of the meeting, MAKFED Secretary General Zühtü Bakır gave a brief on the work of the Legislative Committee and the Leasing Committee, which operates under the Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing Council, touching on the decisions taken.
