TOBB Turkey Venture Capital Council met to discuss the various issues of the sector in İstanbul. The meeting was attended by Treasury Secretariat Financial Sector Affairs and Exchange Deputy General Director Hayrettin Demircan as well venture capital, fund managers and high level representatives of civil society organizations.​

Council President Göktekin Dinçerler provided information regarding activities which took place since the last meeting as well as the developments in the legislation work being done Individual Sharing Finance System, Funds Fund and TÜBİTAK.

Treasury Secretariat Financial Sector Affairs and Exchange Deputy General Director Hayrettin Demircan gave a presentation introducing council members to the Individual Sharing Finance System (BKS).

Attorney Sıdıka Baysal Hatipoğlu provided a briefing regarding legislative changes effecting entrepreneurs, funds and angel investors as well as the changes brought to the sector by the new Turkish Trade Law.
