Turkey Agriculture Council met to consult on developments in the sector

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Agriculture Council met with representatives of public, non-governmental organizations and the private sector, chaired by Council President Ülkü Karakuş and TOBB Board Member Özer Matlı to discuss the current problems and innovations of the sector.
Council Members from various regions of Turkey and from different areas of the agricultural sector gathered to consult on the developments experienced by the sector to be forwarded to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
At the meeting, increased raw material costs, regulatory developments and how to better develop private sector-public cooperation were discussed.
Ülkü Karakuş and Council members expressed satisfaction that İbrahim Yumaklı, the former General Manager of Gübretaş, who is a member of the Turkey Agriculture Council, has taken up his post as Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
