The companies selected from among the companies that applied to the project, in which the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the American Companies Association collaborated to support SMEs in cross-border e-commerce with the United States, were matched with mentors. An introductory meeting of the companies and mentors that will take part in the project was held. Following the market analysis to be made to the selected companies, the second leg of the project continues rapidly in order to ensure that the companies make cross-border e-commerce to the US market for the first time.
- How will the process continue?
Within the scope of the cooperation between TOBB and the American Companies Association, strategic planning, consultancy and business development support will be provided to companies operating in priority sectors determined in order to mature their cross-border e-commerce processes to the US market. Following one-on-one meetings with mentors, companies are expected to have the opportunity to review their existing cross-border e-commerce processes, increase their business volumes, and accelerate cross-border e-commerce, logistics and warehousing processes.
At the end of the project, companies will both enter the US market with cross-border e-commerce and increase their momentum in the US market by being connected with the “TOBB Trade Center” established by TOBB in Chicago, USA.
