At the meeting, at the meeting of the Expanded Commodity Exchanges Council, information was given about the views of the Food Industry Council conveyed to the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Prof. Dr. Vahit Kirişci.

Following the informative presentation on “Transformation of the Business World in the Data Age” made by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dicle Yurdakul, Consultant of the United Nations Development Program, Council Members exchanged views on the problems experienced in the supply of vegetable oil, corn and sugar and the problems arising with the VAT reduction and the solution proposals.

In the last part of the meeting, an assessment was made about the food sector report, which was initiated to take a picture of the sector and put forward a vision for the future.
