International Contracting Services Council evaluates overseas activities

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) International Contracting Services Council holds its first meeting after the election under the chairmanship of TOBB Board Member Hakan Ülken, planning a workshop on “The Situation of the Housing Sector, Future Expectations, Problems Encountered and Solution Proposals,” “Domestic Contracting Sector Situation Assessment” and “Assessment of the Effects of the Russian-Ukrainian War on Overseas Contracting Services and Potential Risks” discussions were held at TOBB Twin Towers with the participation of Council Members.​

In his opening speech, Hakan Ülken stated that Turkey is a strong actor with an important role in branding the international arena in the field of construction sector / contracting and increasing its share in service exports with the work to be done by the International Contracting Services Council of Turkey.

Council President Erdal Eren emphasized the planning and necessity of a workshop on “The Situation of the Housing Sector, Expectations for the Future, Problems Encountered and Solution Proposals.” He stated that the companies and NGOs that know the housing sector best are gathered under the umbrella of the Council and TOBB, and therefore he believes that such a workshop will be taken as a reference in seeking a solution to the housing problem with the public administration.
