Of the 3,382 capacity reports approved in May; 926 were in İstanbul, 229 in Bursa, 218 in Ankara, 191 in İzmir, 137 in Konya, 106 in Kocaeli, 104 in Gaziantep, 83 in Adana, 82 in Manisa and 77 in Antalya.

While the total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industrial Database was 81,012 in May 2021, it increased by 12.8% (10,379 units) to 91,391 units in May 2022.

According to the Active Capacity Reports, the total number of employees increased by 10.9% (367,086 units) from 3,379,362 in May 2021 to 3,746,448 in May 2022.

Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: utilization of bench, device, machine and motive force in processing raw materials, semi-and complete products, property, content, composition or shape in full or in part; for businesses that produce a new product in serial or standard, and for those who operate and operate underground resources and produce software with information technology.
