TRNC President Ersin Tatar, TRNC Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, Main Opposition CTP Chairman Tufan Erhürman, TRNC Minister of Economy and Energy Olgun Amcaoğlu, TRNC Minister of Finance Alişan Şan, TRNC Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Dursun Oğuz, TRNC Minister of Labour and Social Security Hasan Taçoy, Deputy Speaker of the TRNC Republican Assembly Fazilet Özdenefe, HP Chairman Kudret Özersay attended the General Assembly held in Nicosia.

Speaking at the General Assembly, Lokmanoğlu emphasized that as TOBB attaches great importance to the development of relations with the TRNC and that work is being carried out in many areas for the development of the private sector in the TRNC. Lokmanoğlu also expressed the importance of improving the investment climate and economic reforms in the TRNC. He stated that he believes that the Türkiye-TRNC Chamber of Commerce Forum, established by TOBB and the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce, is a very important tool for joint economic initiatives.
