TOBB Vice President of the Board of Directors Selçuk Öztürk thanked the members for their participation and the diligent work of the Council and shared his wish that the meeting would be conducive to fruitful and beneficial results for the sector.

At the meeting where Council President Zeki Poyraz, made a general assessment of the sectoral developments, road maps for the work of the Council and the agenda were determined.

Council members consulted on the topics presented on behalf of the sector at the Sectors Consultation Meeting and Access to Finance Meeting hosted by TOBB. The importance of the promotion of the buildings by the public banks on the “Thermal Insulation Loan Package in Houses”, which is provided at low interest and long-term for insulation and energy saving, was emphasized.

At the meeting, it was also noted that the lower and upper values of indoor air pollutants were determined and measurements would be started within the scope of the studies carried out by the Indoor Air Quality Workgroup to provide ventilation against biological and chemical indoor air pollution in schools.

Within the framework of the protocol signed with İstanbul Avcılar Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, the renewal of laboratories and scholarship activities have started, and in the Council meeting, where it is stated that the training of educators and factory visits will be planned in the next period, sample provinces and districts were identified within the scope of the study on the external weather conditions that will create input to the design of products and buildings.

- “Model Factory Seminar” in November

The announcement of the Model Factory Seminar, which is planned within the scope of the Council's efficiency and quality studies in production, was made. It was noted that the Model Factory Seminar, which will be held on November 8, 2022, aims to present theory and practice together to the participants and to raise awareness in this area.

The ASHRAE RAL CRC Event to be organized by ASHRAE Turkish Chapter in İstanbul on 9-14 October 2022 was reminded to the Council Members.
