At the meeting, Gülşah Koçak, Head of Foreign Investment, Finance and Management Consultancy Department of the General Directorate of International Service Trade of the Ministry of Trade, gave information about the “Decision on the Identification, Classification and Support of Service Exports” published in the Official Gazette on April 20, 2022.

TÜBİTAK Technology and Innovation Support Programs Directorate (TEYDEB) Technology Transfer Mechanisms Support Group Scientific Programs Specialist Hamit Taş informed the Council Members about the patent supports provided by TÜBİTAK and TOBB UYUM Mediation and Dispute Resolution Center General Manager Onur Yüksel made a presentation about the joint Council activities carried out with TOBB UYUM. Yüksel informed that TOBB UYUM started its activities as an official dispute resolution center in internet domain name disputes with BTK as of September.

At the meeting, the sector report that is being prepared was also discussed by the Council Members.

The meeting, where the social media activities planned to be carried out on the promotion of the patent and trademark attorney profession were consulted, ended with the discussion of the measures that can be taken against the fraudulent activities that have recently increased in the sector.
