After the General Assembly, the International Goods Transportation Regional Conference was held on October 7^th, 2022. TOBB Transportation and Logistics Systems Department Head Aslı Çalık attended the conference as a speaker in the session titled “New Era in Road Freight Transportation: Financing Vehicles and Innovation Projects.” Aslı Çalık drew attention to the importance of electronization and said, “Data is today's oil.”

In the conference, it was underlined that regional collaborations are very important, the importance of working together of the public and private sectors regionally in reaching new markets was emphasized and the potential of countries to become transit hubs was emphasized. In addition, during the meeting with the Greek Deputy Minister of Transport Michalis Papadopoulos, who attended the conference, the problems of Turkish transporters were conveyed.
