Number of Approved Industrial Capacity Reports Increased by 7%

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) in November 2022 decreased by 5% (244 units) compared to November 2021 (4,890 units) and reached 4,646 units.
Of the 4,646 capacity report approved in November; 1,265 were in İstanbul, 314 in Bursa, 313 in Ankara, 305 in İzmir, 199 in Gaziantep, 195 in Konya, 170 in Kocaeli, 111 in Tekirdağ, 105 in Kayseri, 93 in Manisa.
While the total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industrial Database was 84,918 in November 2021, it reached 95,009 units in November 2022 with an increase of 11.9% (10,091 units).
According to the Active Capacity Reports, the total number of employees increased by 9% (316,785 units) from 3,534,065 in November 2021 to 3,850,850 in November 2022.
Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: utilization of bench, device, machine and motive force in processing raw materials, semi-and complete products, property, content, composition or shape in full or in part; for businesses that produce a new product in serial or standard, and for those who operate and operate underground resources and produce software with information technology.
