Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy EUROCHAMBRES Workgroup Meeting in Brussels

The Workgroup of the Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy Committee of the Union of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES), of which TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu is the Vice President, met at the TOBB Brussels Office under the chairmanship of TOBB EU and Foreign Relations Department Head Mustafa Bayburtlu.​

Thomas Hagleitner, head of the European Commission Directorate-General for Enlargement attended the meeting as a speaker where the 2022 Enlargement Package, the EU's Enlargement Strategy and the European Political Community were discussed. It also touched on the importance of the active role played by Chambers and Commodity Exchanges in connecting the business world in candidate and potential candidate countries and strengthening the competitiveness of Europe in general.
