TOBB Vice President of the Board of Directors Selçuk Öztürk thanked the members for their participation and the diligent work of the Council and shared his wish for the meeting to be fruitful and beneficial for the sector.

At the meeting where President Zeki Poyraz made a general assessment of sectoral developments, road maps related to the work of the Council and the agenda were determined.

TOBB Climate Council Indoor Air Quality Workgroup decided to start the measurements to determine the lower and upper values of indoor air pollutants in January or February in schools to be selected as examples in Erzurum, İstanbul and Ankara, and in addition, it was decided to organize a workshop with the participation of all stakeholders to establish the necessary legislation and technical basis for ensuring indoor air quality, especially schools.

At the meeting, the Student Scholarships and Curriculum Commission on the latest activities of the sub-commissions of the İstanbul Avcılar Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School Workgroup informed that the first semester scholarships have started to be given, and the Commission on the Education of Educators informed that the training of educators continues and that they will start to be involved in international studies in order to improve the scope of trainings.

The Commission of Workshops and Laboratories announced that the feasibility study required for the renovation of the laboratories was carried out. The On-the-Job Training Commission announced the activities required for the students to develop in practice.

On the other hand, the list of sample provinces and districts for the external weather conditions that will form inputs to the design of products and buildings was presented to the Councilors by the Design External Environmental Conditions Determination Workgroup.

At the meeting, where information was given about the Model Factory Seminar held by the Productivity and Quality Workgroup in İstanbul on November 8, 2022 and the surveys conducted as a result of the seminar, it was reported that national and international Model Factories would be contacted.
