Türkiye Disaster Response Plan Meeting

The Türkiye Disaster Response Plan meeting was hosted by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) in cooperation with the Support Services Department of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure with the participation of representatives of the Maritime, Road and Passenger Transport, Civil Aviation, Transport and Logistics and E-commerce councils and the Bursa, Bolu and İstanbul Regional Directorates.​

At the meeting, it was emphasized with sensitivity that it is of great importance to be able to intervene in disasters and emergencies and to make maximum use of the opportunities and capabilities of public and private sector institutions / organizations, especially in a possible Ä°stanbul earthquake. In this context, the public and private sectors consulted and exchanged ideas on what could be done and decided to continue the meetings comprehensively.
