Of the 5,162 capacity report approved in January: 1,462 were in Ä°stanbul, 366 in Ankara, 302 in Ä°zmir, 294 in Bursa, 221 in Konya, 217 in Gaziantep, 209 in Kocaeli, 123 in Denizli, 120 in Kayseri and 117 in TekirdaÄŸ.

While the total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industrial Database was 86,305 in January 2022, it increased by 12.3% (10,636 units) to 96,941 units in January 2023.

According to the Active Capacity Reports, the total number of employees increased by 8.6% (309,621 units) from 3,604,937 in January 2022 to 3,914,558 in January 2023.

Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: utilization of bench, device, machine and motive force in processing raw materials, semi-and complete products, property, content, composition or shape in full or in part; for businesses that produce a new product in serial or standard, and for those who operate and operate underground resources and produce software with information technology.
