TOBB Board of Directors Member Öztürk Oran stated that the earthquake, the epicenter of which is Kahramanmaraş, affected 10 provinces and prayed for the grace of Allah upon those who lost their lives in this disaster which drowned the whole country in grief, extending his condolences to their families and relatives, and wished urgent healing to the survivors as injured, and expressed that there was a great sensitivity to help the earthquake region.

Oran stated that everyone has duties in order to heal the wounds after the earthquake, and that as TOBB, aid and support are provided to the earthquake region in coordination with all chambers and commodity exchange communities and councils and state institutions. Öztürk Oran emphasized that it would be useful for the sector to evaluate what can be done about the earthquake.

Council President Levent Mete Özgürbüz expressed his opinion on what can be done for the future after the sharing of the due diligence to be made by the council members in the disaster area.

The meeting ended after the consultation of the supports which can be made as a sector.
