The number of industrial capacity reports increased by 0.8%

In the first 2 months of 2023, the number of industrial capacity reports increased by 0.8% compared to the same period last year. The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) in February 2023 decreased by 11% (473 units) compared to February 2022 (4,311 units) and reached 3,838 units.​
Of the 3,838 capacity reports approved in February, 1,035 were issued in Ä°stanbul, 286 in Bursa, 276 in Ankara and Ä°zmir, 206 in Konya, 144 in Kocaeli, 103 in TekirdaÄŸ, 94 in Denizli, 75 in Manisa and 73 in Adana.
While the total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industrial Database was 87,006 in February 2022, it reached 96,838 units in February 2023 with an increase of 11.3% (9,832 units).
According to the Active Capacity Reports, the total number of employees increased by 8% (290,295 units) from 3,615,758 in February 2022 to 3,906,053 in February 2023.
Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: utilization of bench, device, machine and motive force in processing raw materials, semi-and complete products, property, content, composition or shape in full or in part; for businesses that produce a new product in serial or standard, and for those who operate and operate underground resources and produce software with information technology.
