Council President Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, started his speech by praying for the grace of Allah upon our citizens who lost their lives in the earthquake that affected 11 provinces, including Kahramanmaraş, which took place on February 6, 2023, and deeply shook our country, extending his condolences to the survivors. Underlining that the region will be developed jointly by all, Görgün stated that the responsibilities that fall on them as a sector in this process will be done within the possibilities.

TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş talked about the work carried out on behalf of TOBB since the first day of the earthquake. Delibaş gave information about the “My Supplier is from the Earthquake Zone” project, which was initiated to meet the raw material and semi-finished product supplies of large-scale companies from the companies in the earthquake region.

Stating that unity and solidarity are needed more than ever, the Council Members discussed comprehensively what can be done as a sector in the disaster area.
