Electrically Powered Vehicles Mirror Committee consultation meeting

The Mirror Committee on Electrically Powered Vehicles, which was established to follow the International Standardization studies in the field of electric vehicles, held its first meeting online with the participation of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye, the Turkish Standards Institute and Mirror Committee members.
The Mirror Committee on Electrically Powered Vehicles follows the standardization studies carried out by the “ISO/TC 22/SC 37 – Electrically Propelled Vehicles” sub-technical committee under the “ISO/TC 22 - Road Vehicles” technical committee within the ISO (International Organization for Standardization), of which Türkiye is a full member.
During the meeting, consultations were held on the Mirror Committees, information on ISO/IEC and CEN/CENELEC, the review of the issues worked on by ISO/TC 22/SC 37 and the process of selecting the Mirror Committee chairman.
The ISO/TC 22/SC 37 sub-technical committee continues to standardize on many issues such as safety, performance, batteries, charging stations of electric vehicles.
