TOBB Disaster Logistics Coordination Board met in İstanbul

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Disaster Logistics Coordination Board meeting was chaired by TOBB Vice President Tamer Kıran, responsible for the Board, with the participation of TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş, Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure Transportation Services Regulation General Manager Murat Baştor, Head of Management Services Department Canan Ateş, Head of Logistics and Combined Transport Department Sinan Oğuz, Head of Road Transport Department Kerim Cicioğlu, Branch Manager Suat Şaşmaz, one of the representatives of Istanbul Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency, Urban Planner Nagehan Efe and academicians, held at the TOBB İstanbul Service Building.
At the meeting, it was stated how important logistics planning is after the earthquake disaster that affected 11 provinces with the epicenter in Kahramanmaraş and suggestions for the correct construction of logistics in the region and coordination between the public and NGOs were conveyed.
At the end of the meeting, together with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure and the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency, it was decided to examine the existing system in cooperation.
