TOBB Vice President of the Board of Directors Ayhan Zeytinoğlu shared the sorrow felt due to the earthquake, the epicenter of which was Kahramanmaraş and affected 11 provinces, and conveyed his wishes of mercy for our losses and urgent healing to our wounded. Mr. Zeytinoğlu stated that after the earthquake, all the chambers and commodity exchange community and our state provided and continue to provide aid and support to the earthquake region in coordination with our state. Finally, Zeytinoğlu reminded that the Housing Mobilization Campaign was launched on April 1^st, 2023, and that they are prepared to permanently solve the housing problem of the earthquake victims by donating 1 Billion Turkish Liras to the campaign as TOBB, and that the support of the business world is expected. TOBB Board Member Cihat Lokmanoğlu wished Allah's mercy to those who lost their lives in the earthquake that plunged our country into mourning, extending condolences to their families and relatives, and a speedy recovery to our injured citizens and gave information about the activities carried out by TOBB for the earthquake region. 

At the meeting, problems related to Free Zone Legislation and practices were discussed. Opinions were evaluated to organize an event or meeting on “Free Zones in Türkiye” and to increase the awareness of free zones in the media.

Within the scope of the meeting with WFZO-World Free Zones Organization, information about the “Safe Zone Certification Program” was presented.
