Cengiz Günay participated in the 2nd Bulgarian-Turkish Trade Summit

Cengiz Günay, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and Co-Chairman of the Türkiye-Bulgaria CCI Forum, attended the ‘2nd Bulgarian-Turkish Trade Summit’ in Bansko, Bulgaria.​

The summit, organized by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and the Bulgarian Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BULTİŞAD), with the contributions of the Bulgarian Investment Agency and the SME Support and Promotion Agency, was attended by Bulgarian Minister of Innovation and Growth Aleksandar Pulev, Chairman of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms Party Mustafa Karadayı, Mayor of Bansko Ivan Kadev, President of BULTİŞAD Burhan Nemutlu, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye in Sofia Aylin Sekizkök.

Speaking at the opening of the meeting attended by more than 200 business people, Mr. Günay emphasized that Türkiye and Bulgaria are mutually significant trading partners.

The Türkiye-Bulgaria Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum was established in 2020 by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and the Bulgarian-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BULTISAD). The President and members of the Chamber on the Turkish side are appointed by TOBB and on the Bulgarian side by BULTISAD. Annual economic summits, joint board meetings, business forums, business meetings and activities aimed at developing Türkiye-Bulgaria relations are the main areas of work of the Türkiye-Bulgaria Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum.
