Number of Industrial Capacity Reports Approved in July increased by 20.7% compared to the same month last year

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) in July 2023 increased by 20.7% (675) compared to July 2022 (3,257) and reached 3,932.​
Of the 3,932 capacity reports approved in July; 1,061 were issued in Ä°stanbul, 277 in Ä°zmir, 243 in Ankara, 235 in Bursa, 181 in Konya, 160 in Kocaeli, 143 in Gaziantep, 94 in TekirdaÄŸ, 91 in Adana and 85 in Denizli.
The total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industry Database increased by 5.6% (5,149) from 92,058 in July 2022 to 97,207 in July 2023.
According to Active Capacity Reports, the total number of employees increased by 5.3% (199,738 units) from 3,753,920 in July 2022 to 3,953,658 in July 2023.
Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: utilization of bench, device, machine and motive force in processing raw materials, semi-and complete products, property, content, composition or shape in full or in part; for businesses that produce a new product in serial or standard, and for those who operate and operate underground resources and produce software with information technology.
