Of the 4,275 capacity reports approved in August; 1,127 were issued in Ä°stanbul, 302 in Ankara, 294 in Bursa, 283 in Ä°zmir, 165 in Kocaeli, 153 in Gaziantep, 147 in Konya, 113 in TekirdaÄŸ, 103 in Manisa, 94 in Adana.

The total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industry Database increased by 4.4% (4,071) from 92,937 in August 2022 to 97,008 in August 2023.

According to Active Capacity Reports, the total number of employees increased by 4.5% (170,625 units) from 3,786,360 in August 2022 to 3,956,985 in August 2023.

Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: utilization of bench, device, machine and motive force in processing raw materials, semi-and complete products, property, content, composition or shape in full or in part; for businesses that produce a new product in serial or standard, and for those who operate and operate underground resources and produce software with information technology.
