In her opening speech, TOBB Board Member Işınsu Kestelli stated that the main input of creative industries is creativity and intellectual capital and that these two components create economic value through the production of value-added products or services, and underlined that it has recently become an important export item.

Ali Ata Kavame, Council President, talked about the recent activities and informed about the upcoming events. Kavame mentioned the importance of strictly adhering to the pioneering task in order to move the sector forward and concluded his speech by expressing his wishes to work with the same momentum in the new period.

After consultations on the Mediterranean Basin Business World Summit, Let's Talk Orange Events, Screening Children Talented in Creative Industries (KEYCOT) Project, Creative Summit Ankara Project, Digital Registration of Photography Project, Screening Project for Children Prone to Ballet and Opera, and Ideathon Project with the General Directorate of Libraries and Publications, the meeting was concluded by agreeing to actualize the projects within the Council.
