The International Conference on Mutual Recognition of Halal Certificates was held in İstanbul within the scope of the “Raising Awareness on Multilateral / Mutual Recognition in the Axis of OIC/SMICC Halal Standards” Project, organized in cooperation with the Halal Accreditation Agency and the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.​

Zafer Soylu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Halal Accreditation Authority, Dr. Fatih Mehmet Aydın, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council of Religious Affairs, Selçuk Koç, Acting Director General of COMCEC Coordination Office and Riadh Soussi, Deputy Secretary General of SMIIC represented the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) at the conference.
