Medical Device Technical Service Regulations Workshop

The Workshop on Medical Device Technical Service Regulations was hosted by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Medical Council and chaired by Council President Levent Mete Özgürbüz, with the participation of Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (TİTCK) Vice President Mehmet Hakan Fırat, TİTCK Medical Device Certified Installation and Clinical Research Head Department Fatih Topuz, TİTCK Medical Device Sectoral Services Department Head Servet Sarıhan, and, TİTCK Medical Device Registration and Coordination Department Head Ömer Faruk Kuru.
The Workshop started with opening speeches and continued with the informative presentations by TİTCK on the “Regulation on Technical Services of Medical Devices Used in Health Service Delivery” and “Regulation Amending the Regulation on Medical Device Sales, Advertising and Promotion.”
Council Member TIPGÖRDER evaluated the opinions on the relevant regulations under the headings of spare parts issues, warranty issues, concepts, obligations and enforcement issues and conveyed them to public representatives.
In the Workshop, which was attended with great interest by public, private sector and non-governmental organizations, problems and solution proposals were discussed and the contributions of the participants were received. The workshop ended after evaluating the expectations of the sector and possible collaborations with the organization.
