The Council meeting was held at TOBB Twin Towers under the chairmanship of TOBB Board Member Hakan Ãœlken to elect the Council Presidency Council and to discuss current issues of the sector.

In his opening speech, Hakan Ülken explained the purpose of the establishment and working principles of the sector councils, and stated that the sector assemblies are an effective mechanism working in cooperation with the public, and that Türkiye International Health Tourism Council has made a sound in the sector with its work in a short time despite being a young council established in 2021.

Ãœlken shared his belief that the council will play an important role in making our country a center of attraction in the field of health tourism and eliminating the negative perception that is attempted to be created in the foreign press.

- Election of the Presidency of the Council

After the opening speech, the election of the Council Presidency Council was held. Dr. Özgür Öztan, co-founder of HLC Plastic, Reconstructive Surgery Center, was elected as the President of the Council, and Dr. Genco Çetinkanat, Managing Partner of Citrusmed Health, Tourism, Consultancy and Education Limited Company, was elected as the Vice President of the Council.

The activities of the Council for 2023 were presented by Council President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özgür Öztan. After the 2024 vision and working issues were discussed, the meeting ended.
